Sam was born on 6 January 2019, from Claire's second litter, and stayed here.
He has received higher honors in dog shows than any Drent in North America. He was the first Drent to receive a Certificate of Merit from the American Kennel Club, and he is the only Drent from North America to receive a Certificat d'Aptitude au Championnat International de Beauté — an International Championship — from the Fédération Cynologique Internationale. Sam also earned Champion titles from Belgium and Luxembourg. He has many "excellent" evaluations from qualified Dutch judges.
